Of course, you already know this. But until now, you probably haven’t had a sensible alternative. That’s why we’ve created in-house architecture designed to give you exactly what you want, right when you need it. At the Fulfilment Store, we’ve developed cost and time saving technologies that allow us to manufacture kits that fit. In a nutshell, we tell you the total print quantities and we make the individual store kits. Simple. That means no surplus, and hey presto, no waste! And that’s always good news for competitive retailers, such as BP Oil and Phones4U, who are always looking to trim their costs and increase their effectiveness.
Thanks to the accuracy of our systems, you’ll be delighted to know that reorders from stores have been dramatically reduced allowing our clients to save on pick pack and transport costs too.
On the plus side, you will benefit from personalised POS packs delivered to store on time and tailored to your precise requirements. There’s even a simple online re-order facility – Access24. It does exactly what it says, within store-by-store parameters set by you of course.
So, not only is your POS material highly relevant and specifically targeted, it allows your Store Managers more time to do what they do best, manage your stores.
On the negative side – actually there really is no negative side. Talk about a win win situation.
The mobile phone industry evolves rapidly and is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. As new products and services come on stream, the manufacturers and service providers place huge pressure on retailers to bring their offers to market.
Phones4U is one of the biggest players in the mobile phone retail market and, in order to retain this position, it has to respond intuitively and quickly to the demands that are placed on it. This often means that promotions are run at very short notice with marketers, designers, printers and TFS all working to incredibly tight deadlines.
At TFS, we hold a database of all the Phones4U retailers, which includes details of their individual store layouts and the type and number of POS display facilities that each one has. This enables us to ensure that the correct quantities are produced and distributed to the correct stores with no wastage.
This database is held on our server and then transferred to Phones4U prior to the commencement of each major campaign. Phones4U then update it and return it to us with all the necessary data required for us to support them.
For each activity, we receive a brief which tells us what type of POS material needs to be produced. We then use this information to identify the requirements of each store and advise the printers how many of each item to produce. This information is then used to generate instructions for our warehouse to produce and distribute the kits – these can contain as many as 250 different stock lines.
We have to be extremely flexible and able to increase our capacity at short notice because whilst the main promotional periods are pre-determined, changes in the marketplace mean that we regularly receive instructions for supplementary activity whilst still working on the main monthly campaign.
