TaylorMade adidas Golf
TaylorMade adidas Golf manufactures golf equipment for players such as Sergio Garcia and The Fulfilment Store distributes its POS material throughout Europe using a sales force based as far afield as Oslo and Lisbon. In a highly competitive marketplace, the company only has a short period of time in which to promote its products and encourage as many amateur golfers as possible to choose their products.
In order to achieve this, TaylorMade required a method of distributing its materials to golf courses in the UK and Europe, but also needed the flexibility to allow its salespeople to place individual requests for specific items at precise times. Orders can also be large and are sometimes required to be held for a number of weeks before being despatched. At the same time, the stock is pre-allocated by region, so it’s imperative that these allocations are managed so that each region and salesperson knows exactly how much stock is available to them at any given point in time.
We recommended that TaylorMade’s sales team members took advantage of the dynamic facilities available through Access24. This enables them to place and monitor their own orders, keep an eye on stock levels and availability of their allocations, and also specify a despatch date for any of their orders. This is especially useful if their client in Sweden is likely to be snowbound for the next few weeks!
The TaylorMade salesforce now use Access24 on a daily basis, whether their language of choice is English, Portuguese or German. Now, if only Garcia could hold his nerve and win a Major.
