Vaillant Group have responded to the government run ‘Boiler Scrappage Scheme’ by promoting their boilers on TV and other media offering consumers a £400 cash-back on replacing their old boilers with a Vaillant model and installing a Vaillant ltd product. In addition to the government offering Vaillant are offering an additional 1 year guarantee. So what does this mean to TFS? In January we handled 2,500 incoming calls for Vaillant which was a 25% increase on the same period in 2009.
Any old boilers out there?

Charity Christmas Cards
October 1st, 2009
Cards for Good Causes is the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation with the most shops in the country. Their aims are simple – offer the widest choice of charity cards and keep raising as much money as possible each year for their charities. Cards for Good Causes sells cards through a network of 350 charity Christmas Card shops on behalf of more than 300 national and local charities. The shops are temporary, mostly staffed by volunteers and are set up in sites such as churches, libraries, community centres, tourist information centres and museums. In the last five years charities have received over £20 million from their card sales through Cards for Good Causes outlets.
Compiling the cards on behalf of the many charities to be sent to the correct shops requires the logistical expertise of a first class fulfilment company. Cards for Good Causes partner for this project is The Fulfilment Store. For more information on Cards for Good Causes click here http://www.cardsforcharity.co.uk/

We currently have 3,500 footballs in our warehouse which are being prepared for distribution to BP Marine offices in places as far afield as Indonesia, the US and Aberdeen.
Do these 5,000 umbrellas work properly?
August 18th, 2009Today we are opening and closing 5000 umbrellas to see if the mechanism works! Just to be on the safe side these are being done outside to avoid any bad luck associated with putting an umbrella up inside! Client Relationship Manager Sam Boddington got in on the act.
4 MILLION ORDERS!!!!
August 12th, 2009Jeff Larcombe here. I have just been informed that at 9:21am yesterday we keyed our 4 millionth order onto our order processing system. It’s a milestone of sorts but this particular clock didn’t start ticking until 1997 so that means 4 million orders processed in 12 years which averages out at around 1,300 orders per day. At least it has kept us busy!
