The Proof –
Anheuser Busch

The brewing industry is perhaps one of the most highly competitive sectors in the UK. With global companies constantly fighting to establish their brands in the minds of their target audience, it’s crucial that every stage of the marketing fulfilment process is flawlessly executed.

The use of TV advertising to build brands is often supplemented by large scale promotional campaigns and sponsorship links. Anheuser Busch, the brewers of Budweiser, is one of the most visible companies in this market. Its links with one of the UK’s best known sporting brands means that it is particularly active in order to gain maximum benefit from the sponsorship agreement.

Anheuser Busch’s sales team manage the collation and distribution of kits in line with promotional activity strategy; then they place these orders with us. Using Access24, we make extensive use of our stock allocation systems to manage this process. Stock is allocated to specific teams to ensure that when the time comes for it to be collated and distributed it is always available.

In order for Anheuser Busch to maintain tight control over its stock, we have tailored our internal systems to meet their requirements. For example, we have implemented a new purchase order process which controls the receipt of stock so that nothing can be received unless we hold all the necessary cost and volume data. Each day we transfer data to Anheuser Busch, detailing every stock movement to ensure that an accurate inventory is held by us and our client.
