The Proof - Kia Motors
In a world dominated by global superbrands such as Ford and General Motors, gaining a foothold in a new market represents a significant challenge. Part of Kia Motor’s strategy to establish itself in the UK has been to utilise the power of a sophisticated customer contact strategy to underpin their above-the-line activity.
The ability to identify and track everyone who requests information about a Kia car is therefore fundamental. Our objective is to turn all requests round on the day they are received and then pass on all relevant information to Kia’s database management company. To achieve this we have established a process by which Kia’s website places a file of all requests onto our server every four hours. This file is then automatically downloaded and translated into instructions to pick, pack and despatch the appropriate literature. Our system is programmed to combine multiple requests into one and also uses the recipient’s postcode to identify the nearest Kia dealerships and include it into the accompanying letter.
Once the process is complete, details are sent to Kia’s database management company and a separate file of people requesting a test drive is sent to an outbound call centre for appointment setting.
